Area of validity
The insurance cover is valid worldwide.
Maximum trip duration
The insurance cover is valid within the rental period specified in the rental contract.
Not insured vehicles
Taxis, driving school vehicles and vehicles within the scope of car sharing models (such as Mobility, etc.).
Sums insured
The sums insured under the insurance benefits apply per case or per event.

Allianz Travel excess insurance replaces the excess charged to you by a rental car company, be it with a passenger car up to nine seats, a motorhome or camper in the event of a claim. Additionally insured are the costs charged by the rental firm for damages caused to tyres, glass and synthetic windows, underbody and roof.
